Cashiers,
may be best known for its` hiking trails,
waterfalls, and its` mountain-rustic village square. While others favor its` golf courses,
panoramic vistas and decidedly slow pace.
Situated at 3,487 feet above sea level,
Cashiers is one of five contiguous towns, all of which share this lofty perch known
as the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau.
Idyllic weather and serene natural
beauty are only two of the reasons this
mountain haven has become the popular,
quaint town it is today. Recreation
abounds here... from great golf, tennis,
horseback riding, lake-stream & river
fishing, canoeing & whitewater rafting to
of course, hiking. Summer and Fall festivals bring arts, crafts, musicians, actors, benefits,
auctions and concerts year after year. It is not unusual to run into the same
visitors every year... at about the same time! This is a friendly place and the
locals make you feel... welcome. If you like to shop, you’ll find no shortage
of shops, galleries and restaurants of every description, all permeating the
same relaxed mountain-style atmosphere.
Discover Cashiers, it’s beautiful!
